Styled in black, the Beoplay H9i Over-Ear Headphones from B&O PLAY by Bang & Olufsen sport Bluetooth and active noise cancellation. Four dedicated electret microphones have been built into the earcups for the specific purpose of measuring and canceling out the din around you. Thanks to the elegance of their design and the materials of their construction (anodized aluminum, lambskin, and cowhide leather), these headphones boast a sleek look and a comfortable fit.

With 40mm electro-dynamic drivers, these over-ear headphones offer a frequency response of 20 Hz to 20 kHz. A bass port enables a deeper, heftier low end. Microphones have been built into each earcup to ensure a crystal-clear sound when communicating over the phone or with your digital assistant. 

You’ll also note a touch interface on the right earcup, which houses controls for volume, play/pause, next/previous, and answer/end phone calls. Transparency Mode—in which you can amplify the ambient noise level around you to enhance your situational awareness without overpowering the audio—is available with a simple touch to the earcup. With a built-in proximity sensor, the headphones will automatically pause when you take them off.

The battery on these headphones lasts up to 18 hours with Bluetooth and noise cancellation, and up to 23 hours without the noise cancellation. Should you choose to use the included audio cable to listen to music the old-fashioned way, the headphones will last up to 24 hours with active noise cancellation enabled. All of this comes by way of a 2.5-hour charge. A USB charger, a flight adapter, and a carrying pouch are included. The headphones are compatible with the Beoplay app.
