Create a mesh wireless network in your home while taking control of smart home devices with the SmartThings Wifi AC1300 Dual-Band Wi-Fi Router. Supporting the Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) Wave 2 standard, each dual-band SmartThings Wifi router boasts up to 1,300 Mb/s of total Wi-Fi data throughput. This SmartThings Wifi 1-pack is capable of creating a mesh Wi-Fi network that covers up to 1,500 ft2. You can use additional routers to expand wireless coverage in your home, ideal for eliminating dead zones.
The router doubles as a SmartThings hub, capable of controlling compatible TVs, locks, light bulbs, thermostats, air conditioners, and other smart home devices. The hub is compatible with Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa, Philips Hue, and other smart device platforms.
Besides its smart home capabilities, each SmartThings Wifi router supports multi-user MIMO technology, which allows for simultaneous data streams with multiple wireless devices.
