Product Description
Your big day starts with an introductory classroom session, where you'll learn how to drive a race car. Find out what it takes to safely and most efficiently handle a powerful Formula 2000 vehicle, so you can get the most out of your track time. Professional instructors will train you on specs about the race car itself, as well as skills and techniques required for your race car driving experience.
Marvel at the mechanics and physics behind this popular sport, as pros enlighten you on the car's features and how they impact your speed. Such topics may include its reclining seat, open cockpit, Indy-style body, front and rear wings, open-wheel frame, and wide tires. And that's just the beginning! Once training wraps up, it will be time for you to drive a race car that's capable of going from zero to 60 MPH in just 4.2 seconds, and reaching speeds of up to 130 MPH. All thanks to its 150 BHP.
Finish up your classroom orientation with a live racing demonstration, then complete a practice run in a Volvo Sedan. This nicely-paced demo lap will give you a great feel for the lay of the track's land, so that you're more than ready to hop into the cockpit of your own race car!
Finally it's time to burn some rubber of your own! Suit up in the same race car driving gear worn by Formula 2000 pros. Once your racing suit and full-face helmet are securely fastened, strap into the driver's seat and prepare to peel out of pit road!
Rest assured throughout the duration of your participation, you're in only the most capable of hands. The driving school was founded by a Formula One professional, and has been providing Formula 2000 Race Car Driving experiences for over 30 years. It has also gained full certification as an 'Authorized Competition Licensing School' by the Sports Car Club of America.
