Product Description
Mass Ave is a well-known commercial boulevard that was designed as one of four diagonal streets leading into the heart of Downtown Indianapolis. A lot about Indianapolis has changed since Mass Ave was born in 1821. Today, this neighborhood lies at the center of the city's art and cultural district.
This historic district is home to an ever expanding food scene, encompassing nearly two dozen locally owned restaurants. The restaurants throughout the area are a combination of long standing local favorites dating back to the 1800's, to new hotspots embracing the culinary traditions of the "Circle City."
This Massachusetts Avenue Food Tour will explore the progression of Indianapolis' cuisine over the past 150 years; from the traditions brought over by the city's original immigrants, to locally sourced progressive cuisine, all within a beautifully restored neighborhood.
