Spend an afternoon learning about the 250-year-old port city that was once home to George Washington and Robert E. Lee on this Old Town Alexandria Food Tour!
Located across the Potomac River from Washington D.C., Alexandria is noted for its architecture, noble mansions, historic sites and colonial streets. Take a journey through one of the nation's largest historic districts and learn about Old Town Alexandria's significance throughout the history of our country.
Sample specially made dishes at unique family owned restaurants, including a local dessert enjoyed for over 135 years - Alexandria's famous Jelly Cake!
Tastings may include (and are subject to change):
- American gastropub dishes
- Local artisan beer
- Virginia peanuts
- Italian cuisine in one of the city's oldest buildings
- Fresh seafood from a restaurant featured on the Food Network
- Old Town's famous indigenous dessert
- Freshly brewed coffee or specialty teas

Thursday through Sunday - 1:00 PM
- Approximately half of the 3.5-hour tour will include walking
- Children under the age of 7 who will not be participating in food tastings do not require a ticket, please notify Cloud 9 Living at the time of booking if you will be bringing an infant or young child along with you
- All tastings are included in the price
- Visit 3-5 restaurants for tastings that will happily fill most stomachs
- Notify Cloud 9 Living of any food allergies or dietary restrictions at the time of booking

This experience is only for those on the tour.
This experience is not weather dependent and will run rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather, you will be able to go inside many of the establishments on the tour. Please dress appropriately for the day's weather conditions.
