Built with components that let you train hard and game harder, the OMEN Obelisk Desktop Computer from HP features micro-ATX upgradability, tool-less drive bays, support for up to 1300W of power, and a design that can be personalized. The system is powered by a 3.6 GHz Intel Core i7-9700K Eight-Core processor, which will allow you to run multiple applications simultaneously. If more power is needed, the CPU can deliver extra performance by increasing its clock speed up to 4.9 GHz utilizing Intel's Turbo Boost 2.0 technology. The 16GB of 2666 MHz HyperX DDR4 RAM comes in a 1 x 16GB configuration, allowing the computer to run multiple applications simultaneously and to quickly access frequently-used files and programs. The system's memory can be upgraded to 32GB by using a 16GB chip in each of the two 288-pin DIMM slots.
For term storage of your files, this system is equipped with a 512GB NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD and a 1TB 7200 rpm SATA 3.5" hard drive. If you want to add external storage drives, optical drives, printers, memory card readers, or other peripherals, the OMEN Obelisk features one USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-A port and six USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports. The dedicated NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Super graphics card has 8GB of GDDR6 and delivers a sharp, clear picture, while allowing for multiple simultaneous displays to be used via its three DisplayPort and one HDMI outputs at resolutions up to 7680 x 4320. The graphics card also has a VirtualLink port, which uses USB Type-C to power and drive virtual reality headsets.
Whether you are listening to music, watching a movie, or playing a game, DTS Headphone:X technology and 5.1-channel surround sound output high-definition audio and delivers higher fidelity than standard audio controllers. Wired connectivity is achieved using the integrated Gigabit Ethernet port, or take advantage of Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) and Bluetooth 4.2 for wireless network and peripheral connectivity. Included is USB keyboard, a USB mouse, a screwdriver, and a power cord. The installed operating system is Windows 10 Home (64-bit).
