Audiophile-level sound reproduction goes mobile with the M15 Hi-Res Lossless Portable Music Player from FiiO. The M15 leverages multiple pieces of hardware and technology to help create an mobile high-resolution listening experience that you can fit in the palm of your hand. It two AKM AK4499EQ DACs, Samsung's Exynos 7872 processor, 3rd generation FPGA technology, two Japanese NDK femtosecond crystals, and more. Altogether, they work to minimize noise, distortion, jitter, while accurately reproducing digital audio files as close to the original recordings as possible.
A hallmark of FiiO's portable aesthetic, the 5th generation columnar design gives the M15 concave sides to help provide a better grip when holding the device. Operating the M15 is done via the nearly borderless 5.15" display that features 10-finger multi-touch, 1440 x 720 resolution, and protective Corning Gorilla Glass. There are also physical buttons on the side for basic operation, including a customizable multifunction key. On top is a knurled potentiometer volume knob plus three headphone outputs – 2.5mm, 3.5mm, and 4.4mm.
Aside from its high-quality chips and processors, and the intuitive touch and physical controls, the M15 provides software and networking support for various wireless formats and expansive codec support. The M15 also supports PCM formats up to 768 kHz/32-bit, DSD up to DSD512, MQA 8x track decoding, Hi-Res audio, global All to DSD functionality, Bluetooth transmission and reception, and USB decoding. You can also play-back audio online via the Android-based operating system and support for dual-band Wi-Fi.
